(10/13/2011 5:42:49 AM) Went to these courts at 6:00 on 10/12 2011 and waited for the HS tennis team to finish practice (they were only using 4 of the 8 courts). When they cleared (all but 1 of the courts) we attempted to enter but were told (by the supposed coach in a very rude manner) "WE'RE NOT FINISHED WITH PRACTICE YET!". I asked if we could play on the alternate side (with 4 empty courts) and he said "NO!". So we sat on the bleachers and waited another 15 minutes while they used 1 of the 8 courts. Then another fellow (apparently an assistant) walked over and asked if we were waiting for "lessons" and we said "no we're just here to play". He informed us that the courts were NOT public, and that we should try Cedar Park HS 3-4 miles away.

(6/22/2010 2:38:42 PM) Check with Round Rock I.S.D. on whether courts in their district are public. You can make a case that courts built with public money should be usable by members of the public.

(6/22/2010 1:56:37 PM) Went to this court last night, was told it was not open to the public by the handful of individuals using the court. Beautiful courts, great lights, but they ARE NOT public.

(9/21/2009 7:54:40 PM) Replaced with 8 brand new courts (Sept 2009) across the street. The lights are excellent! They are permanently locked - no public access - so please petition the RRISD school board.

(8/12/2007 6:38:33 PM) These courts are great to play on but are always locked -- you usually have to sneak in while someone is giving lessons. It's a shame because even people who payed taxes to build this public school and whose kids have gone there receive no better options.
